Tree in Jars (3 pics)
in this installation by new york-based artist naoko ito, she saws a tree branch into small pieces and places the individual pieces into different sized jars. once complete, she stacks up all the jars to recreate the original form of the branch, creating the illusion that it’s still in one piece. jars really do keep things fresh.
